The Emirati qamees, another name often used is kandura, is a traditional garment worn by men in the United Arab Emirates. It is a long, loose robe that is usually white in color and made of lightweight fabric to withstand the heat of the desert. This model is special because of the lack of a collar and also the very fine/thin stitching that runs in a V-shape on the chest.

The qamees is often worn with a white headdress called the ghutra and a black cord called the agal to hold the ghutra in place. Clothing style is important to Emirati culture and is often associated with simplicity, modesty and tradition. The model is often worn with a string on the chest.
